Jacques Bermon Webster II (born on April 30 1991) more popularly known as the stage name Travis Scott, is an American musician, rapper as well as songwriter and record producer. The stage name he uses is a tribute to the name of a beloved uncle, along with the names of one his influences, Kid Cudi.
The year 2012 was the time that Scott was signed to his very first major label agreement to Epic Records and a publishing agreement together with Kanye West’s GOOD Music. In April of 2013 the singer-songwriter signed a joint recording agreement in conjunction with Epic as well as the TI’s Grand Hustle imprint. Scott’s first album of full length called his Owl Pharaoh mixtape, was released in the year 2013. The mixtape was followed by another mixtape, Days Before Rodeo, in 2014.
Education
Travis Scott has completed his high school studies at Elkins High school. He then went to The University of Texas, to finish his studies. But, he resigned from the school during his second year to pursue an opportunity in music. He had become a fully-fledged performer in the year 2008.

Travis Scott as born Jacques Berman Webster II at Houston, Texas on April 30 in 1991. He grew up with his mother and grandmother in South Park, Houston, which was a notorious crime zone up to the age of six, when he relocated into Missouri City, a middle-class suburb located southwest of Houston where he lived in the home of his parents. He completed his education at Elkins High School and enrolled at the University of Texas San Antonio and eventually dropped out of during his sophomore year in order to pursue a musical career.
Scott created the group “The Graduates” with longtime friend Christ Holloway, releasing their untitled debut single via Myspace back in the year 2008. In 2009, he started”The Classmates “The Classmates” with schoolmate OG Chess. They released two albums together. After leaving college, Scott relocated into New York City, where he collaborated with his the friend Mike Waxx. Dissatisfied with the slow progress in his career, Scott moved to Los Angeles after just 4 months living in NYC. While in Los Angeles, he slept on the couch of a pal while the band continued to record music.
Career
Travis Scott first started his career as a rapper when he was just 16 years old. Scott was joined by another friend to form the hip-hop duo The Alumni.
Four years after, Travis signed deals with both GOOD Music and Epic Records. The following year the artist also signed a contract with Grand Hustle. It’s safe to say Travis Scott was on his way to achieving great success in the hip hop industry.
Fast forward to the year 2018. Travis has released several albums, had songs featured in the Billboard Hot 100, and welcomed a daughter with Kylie Jenner, her best friend.
Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott welcomed their first child, a baby girl name Stormi, less than a year after first sparking rumours of a romance in 2017.
Personal Life
In April of 2017, Scott started dating reality TV businesswoman and star Kylie Jenner. Jenner was the mother of Stormi Webster, their child. Stormi Webster on February 1, 2018. The couple divorced in September of this year.
