Kareena Kapoor’s Early Life and career:

Kapoor family was born on the 21st September the 21st of September, 1980. Bombay (now Mumbai), Kapoor (often often called Bebo) is the youngest sister of Randhir Kapoor and Babita (nee Shivdasani) and her older cousin Karisma has also been an actor. Kapoor is the father grandchild of filmmaker and actor Raj Kapoor, maternal granddaughter of actor Hari Shivdasani, and great-granddaughter of filmmaker Prithviraj Kapoor. It is believed that actor Rishi Kapoor was her grandfather, as is his son actor Ranbir Kapoor is her cousin. According to Kapoor her mother,”Kareena” is her birth name “Kareena” was derived from the novel Anna Karenina, which her mother was reading while expecting her. Her parents are of Punjabi Hindu descent on her father’s side and on the mother’s side she has Sindhi Hindu and British descent.Describing her as being a “very naughty spoilt child” Kapoor’s exposure to film as a child sparked her passion for acting. she was particularly influenced by the performances of actors Nargis or Meena Kumari. Despite her heritage her father did not approve of women appearing in films as they were believed to be in conflict with the traditional roles and obligations of women within the family. This caused a dispute between her parents and the couple split. Then, she was taken care of by her mother who had a variety of jobs to provide for her children up until Karisma made her debut as an actress in 1991. After living in a relationship for several years, her parents reunited in October of 2007. Kapoor stated, “My father is also an important aspect of my life.  Even though we didn’t visit him frequently in the beginning but we’re an extended family today. “Kapoor was a student at Jamnabai Narsee School in Mumbai and was then enrolled in Welham Girls at the school in Dehradun. She attended the school mostly to please her mother, although she later confessed to enjoying the school experience. According to Kapoor she was not attracted to academics, but she did get high marks in all her classes, except for math. When she graduated from Welham in the year 2000, she went back to Mumbai and pursued a degree in the field of commerce over two years at Mithibai College. Kapoor later enrolled for three months of summer school in microcomputers at the Harvard Summer School in the United States.

While at the institute for training, Kapoor was cast as the main character in Rakesh Roshan’s film Kaho Naa… Pyaar Hai (2000) alongside the son of his, Hrithik Roshan. After a few days of filming process she decided to pull out of the project. Kapoor later admitted that she had gained by not directing the film as the film was more prominently portrayed by Rakesh Roshan’s son, the film’s director. Kapoor made her debut later in the year along with Abhishek Bachchan, in J. P. Dutta’s war-themed drama Refugee. 2004 Kapoor was keen on expanding her acting options and decided to play more difficult roles in addition to the typical glamourous leading lady. under the guidance under the direction of Sudhir Mishra in 2004, Kapoor performed the part of a prostitute with a golden heart in Chameli the film which tells to the tale of a prostitute in her 20s who is reunited with an investment banker who is widowed (played by Rahul Bose).
