Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in education is the mode of education that use information and communications technology to support, enhance, and optimise the delivery of information. Worldwide research has shown that ICT can lead to an improved student learning and better teaching methods.
There is a requirement in India in the present to establish an institution in which researchers from India as well as from other countries are able to meet and collaborate during critical times in a relaxing and comfortable atmosphere. The duration of these sessions is contingent on the kind of activities at ICTS which can vary from short-term workshops to programmes lasting for a long time. The trips to ICTS may also be sabbaticals where faculty members are able to bring their postdocs and students.
The aim is to offer the facility to help in the process of creativity and assist in solving some of the more difficult scientific issues that we face in our time.
International Centre for Theoretical Sciences (ICTS) CampusAs past experience has demonstrated, significant breakthroughs can occur when issues are viewed in a different way and when there is the possibility of heterosis (or hybrid energy) when various core disciplines are applied on a particular issue. This is normal because, as we know, it was the limitations of our human brain which led to the division of science that known as Physics, Chemistry, and Biology! Mathematics is quite different but I believe is a result of our perception of the environment that surrounds us. This is why ICTS wants to use parallel programming in various disciplines. There is a huge amount of research being conducted at the intersection of Physics Biology, Biology, as well as Computer Science in different combinations.
In addition to its mission of creating a space to facilitate research in the sciences of the foundation, ICTS would like to aid in the development of human resources for science.
We will develop programs for college and school teachers to facilitate the creation of educational materials and make use of modern technology for the distribution of educational materials. We are also looking into the concept of an “Math Clinic” where students under the guidance of a teacher, work on solving mathematical issues from various disciplines like science, technology as well as finance, health, and many more.
ICTS is conscious of the importance of the interplay between “pure research” and applied science and technology, as well as of the significance of discussions about science and technology policy. The diverse communities can be a part of the conversation at ICTS.
Although there is no doubt the fact that ICTS is a science-based institute, it will endeavor for integration of science within the human-human interaction and knowledge.

How ICTS Happened
The origins of ICTS can be traced back to organizations like that of the Abdus Salam International Centre for Theoretical Physics (ASICTP) in Trieste and The Kavli Institute for Theoretical Physics (KITP) located in Santa Barbara and the Newton Institute in Cambridge. Each of these institutions have similar, but slightly different mission statements.
The ICTP was initially established by Salam 45 years ago to keep world-class scientists and students updated across a range of fields of Physics and Mathematical.
Services and products
ICTS has utilized the security system that is used in Israel which involves having passengers identified in order to determine the degree to that they could pose a security risk on the basis of several indicators, such as names, age, and the manner in which they are interrogated. In the latter part of 1990 the company also came up with an application system that was based on a computer-generated algorithm known as the APS (Advanced passenger screening) that analyzes the information of passengers collected by airlines and assesses the risks for a specific passenger. APS is used by the majority of the major airline companies within the United States.
Even before the permanent campus is completed the ICTS began operations in Sept. 2007 and seen an extremely active beginning. It has organized 49 events over 607 days of program. Around 4000 people attended the programs, while about 1500 of them were non-Indians. India. More programs are being planned in the very near future. The programs cover a variety of areas: Physics, Astrophysics, Cosmology Mathematics, Computer Science and their numerous branches. The importance of ICT in the workplace
